Sun, Sand, Sentosa, Solaris.
Hahahaha I lovee the beach, possibly the best place to relax and forget about anything that would stress you out. And yes, I'm glad I went :) It really felt good at Sentosa even though initially we were paying cards there. The turn out wasn't as bad as Terra's one last year although there were very few J2s. So the majority of the time was spent playing Captain's ball, creating sand storm while playing. Hahaha the heat was quite bad after the initial rain, so now I've become more chaota then before! :X At least there's no Ms Gayle who would mistake me as a Malay. Anyway, many funny bizzare things happened yesterday and really made it quite an interesting day. Like balls, slipper, bottle getting stuck on the coconut tree and we were below desperately trying to get it down by throwing more things up. Eventually a worker climbed up the tree and got everything down Hahaha. It was extremely hilarious :) And the weirdo with his friends and what they did. Goodness. But well, it's been fun day altogether and as promised, it's time to stop slacking :)

Some photos:

Yihui, thanks for agreeing to go Sentosa with me!!! Haha sorry. But hope you enjoyed yourself too :D
She's younger than me but taller!! :( Hahah thank you leejing for not dunking me in the sea :P

Seniors! :) It was nice catching up with them and I conclude Joanne is so rough!! She pulled my shirt and we both landed in the sand, all because of a ball :/

AHH baby Gwen!! :D She came over last night cause my sis had wedding dinner. Hahaha she likes to look at herself in the mirror. Thus this picture :)

One of those unhappy days again.
No idea what got into me today, but everything just went wrong. Surprised some of my friends for looking so distracted, out of sorts etc etc and I didnt know why I was feeling that wat. Until during dinner with Yenfang that I concluded the reason for my misery. It'n not like what Suyi and Felicia said I was suffering from the absence of J3s. Haha I've been thinking and reflecting too much. How I don't have a decent girls cross team, how I havent been putting much effort into studies still, how I am still in the playful mood, how the committment level of people are getting worse! And maybe Aaron's right, it's high time I pulled up and socks and start catching up before I fall behind too much. Hmmm oh well, but really a big thank you to all those who comforted me, and made time just for me! Really appreciated all those little acts of concern :D Haha friends are really the best things in life. I'm feeling better now. Hopefully tmr's house outing at Sentosa would be a right decision I made. Shall really relax and not think of anything that would stress me out (:

Anyway,
I'm really proud of my Crescent juniors for doing better better this year! An average of 9.5! Seriously, my alma mater is getting better every year :)

I hope these daily trainings will translate into something we're training so hard for at the end at the day. It's been one of the worst weather to train today and I felt SO TERRIBLE :X The day has just been yucks. And I'm still burning from the heat. Boo, Lynette is tired and sad. I seriously need more motivation! And I can't lose that 'highness' I have although I'm having the I-wanna-give-up feeling but I know I cannot. Oh well no looking back, for the sake of the team and the people who have always been supporting the track team, we'll all hang in there and hopefully achieve much more than last year. At least I'm really comforted by the newcomers.

At least today was unlike those boring days in school. Morning training felt good although I could feel myself drenched in sweat during assembly:X It's wednesday and I ate CHICKEN CUTLET, and so did many trackers too! But it's gonna be my first and last time until seasons ends, yes I'm quite disciplined. It's really oily and unhealthy but just had a sudden craving for it today. CAAL was an utter waste of time since I had no intention of joining YFC. I made new friends after CAAL though, HAHA Lengyee's first sentence to me is probably smtg I wont be able to forget. Gosh she's so funny!! Shopping with Miaoqun after school! :D My classmates didn't believe I was going out on a wednesday after school when I should be home doing my work. And they were listing out all the work I had to complete. Aiyo must learn to have fun while studying too! I don't regret going out, esp since we managed to catch up alot. And of course a more fruitful shopping trip this time round :) AHHH but what she told me etc etc really made me confused about what I feel and all and maybe she's right. We'll just wait and see, all in all I had a great time today :D Thanks Miaoqun!

On a side note, I realised that all the J2 Solaris Girls House Affiliate have a spongebob pouch! Hahah we probably like the same thing. Ohh and I still can't believe my towel landed in the dustbin instead when I used it to attack Adrian :X

THE CURSE OF J2.
I feel as if I'm drowning in the unfinish-able amounts of homework, and it's only the second week! :X Although I must admit I'm quite blessed to have a number of good teachers, except that some teach really fast. So now the only thing that makes me look forward to school is Track, despite it getting tougher and tougher. Well at least track trainings means more time to talk to people who easily make my day :)

Tapestry meeting, the final one cause we're all stepping down, on Friday. It's always nice to see all of them again, although the way they 'welcomed' me was so terrible!! And so the conclusion was that no matter where I go, whoever I'm with, I'm always the target of teases. And the reason? Cause I'm nice to bully, I never retaliate. Boo. But anyway, the new committee is quite pathetic and that is worrying. No idea if Tapestry 08 is gonna happen with the negativity this project has. Given too much funding for a purpose that can be fufiled by any other organisations. I just hope the new PD and his comm will be able to think of something new and will be approved by CDC. Meanwhile, some of us decided to still offer our assistance and not leave them helpless (:

Tapestry07 committee, no idea when will be the next time we meet up again! Sure miss those meetings we had, serious work but major gossip sessions there after!

Yesterday I spent the whole day out, Youth Olympics Games seminar early in the morning. It wasn't all that boring as expected, quite interesting in fact. But the JJ students were really high, making us feel like some Primary school kid. Had a good laugh especially with Trent being so enthusiastic during the Games section HAHA. He's such a funny person, but he can be serious too and a nice person to talk to :) Tuition in the afternoon, I dozed off :X Met up with Yenfang at night and had an unfruitful shopping trip. Rahhh I can't seem to find any nice suitable fitting clothes for CNY and I think I may end up just not buying at this rate. It was quite disappointing but at least I managed to catch up with Yenfang! :D Don't stress over your choice of schools yet, wait and see. Keep me updated!

Okay, so it's back to doing what I dislike for now. Studying.

No Monday Blues :)
Monday timetable is short and sweet, time passes very quickly. Heh I think one of the good things about J2 is having a proper classroom, saves us all that trouble having to switch class every period. OHh first day of training with newcomers was Shocking. Seriously, as much as I was contented with the huge turn out, I think too big a team isn't very ideal either. Hahah Jon and I were running in front of the 40plus people for warm up today and it was so scary. One look back and you can't even see the end. Plus we attracted lots of funny stares from Njcians who were whispering to each other, trying to find out which CCA we were from. So amusing! :) I've no idea if it's cause of the many people today or what, but everyone seemed to be in high spirits somehow. I could barely hear myself talking when we're doing core together with all the XC people. Heh well frankly, the team will definitely shrink after today I guess. At least I know that we didn't waste our smses following up on those people who signed up. It really made a huge difference to make that little effort to remind them about today's training. YAY, I'm begining to feel that Track's gonna make a difference this year :D

Rahh I haven't spoke to my buddy properly for so long!! :( Hope orientation ends soon and we can have proper chit chats again!

CCA Carnival today was quite a success :) I'm impressed by the number of interested students this year and thanks to all who brought newcomers to our booth etc etc etc! Plus the trackers who really went all out to talk to J1s/IP1s to tell them more about the team and track. I'm really pleased by all your efforts! Mass messaged them to inform them about Monday's training, ahah I think we're a Kiasu but efficient bunch. Things look better for 2008 and I pray we'll have a decent turnout on Monday :D

And now I know why NJ Canoeing can always clinch championship for so many years consecutively. Behind them lies a good leader, Mr Yong. Really he has many ideals and beliefs that I feel made him go further in life to achieve more despite the odds, bringing the team to success year after year. I hope this year, Track can surprise the college somehow. Hahaha and after putting things into perspective to the team before training yesterday, I received feedback from some that they're worried yet excited for this season. Yet somehow I felt so uneasy, thinking that I had been too fierce/stern while talking. Heh oh well, full attendence for the first training except for one who's excused, I hope this marks a good start for us too!

First Day at School :D
It wasn't that bad after all! Haha morning my neighbour surprised me by appearing at the bus stop too in NJ Pe attire. Graduate already still go back to school early in the morning. Haha took 154 with me and we chatted on the long journey. Initially I was still worried that it'll be an hour of awkward silence but so glad it didn't turn out that way (: Haha anyway, it's quite a nice feeling to be back in school after a 2 months break which felt so short. But now I'm like the oldest in NJ and that just feels weird, especially with people saying I'm still small and unlike a J2 :( Hmph. Got to know all my new teachers and I'm glad they're mostly strict cause that means I won't fall asleep in class and try to pay attention as much as I can! Every teacher that came in set their expectations of us, how J2 is gonna be very fast and taxing, especially with only 1 common test this year. And NO enrichment week for us, BOO :( Ohh and guess what, I've dropped from the first class to the last class for GP. Haha I kind of expected it after getting like 15percentile for Promos. But like C01 to A08 is a Huge drop :X Doesn't matter, there's only one way for this GP class now, Improve not Deprove. At least the GP tutor is friendly and reassuring. After school, we had Exco meeting and everyone got high and loud as usual. Made my throat feel so painful there after, when I trained with QiuLin for a while. I finally ran again since 22nd Dec! It feels great to be back running but not when my arc is hurting again. Frankly it this injury is starting to worry me more, and I heard our season this year is even earlier than before. That sure is scary cause none of us are even prepared for any races as yet. One more month to our first race I think, Drats! Well at least those heart to heart talks during our run made me feel a little better! No more slacking this year at all :) Still can't believe I'm a J2 already...
