It was quite an unforgettable experience alogether even though I'm not a fan of F1. But once you reach the street circuit, you can feel all the hype and excitement. It made me really proud of Singapore, really. It's amazing how we could stage such a big scale event within a short time despite being such a small country. Hahaha what does this show? Never look down on small people too! ;)
This is probably the closest I could take of an F1 car. Haha they were moving at a speed at about 300km/h which made it almost impossible to catch anything with our digital camera. Out of the twenty over shots, we had a success rate of 0%. Haha the above picture was actually taken from the big screen. Oh and we saw the car which bumped into the concrete slab and drove in the wrong direction! I was still telling my brother how dangerous it was if there was an approaching car. Then in came out in the papers today that he was fined 20,000euros! Oh my, so much money.. But seriously, F1's really quite cool! :) And Singapore has done a wonderful job with entertainment all around too. Managed to catch this band from France which was performing at the Esplanade stage and they sang really well. 'Austin Powers' and his girls came along which got a few people from the audience dancing away haha.
So today and tomorrow is my sis and bro-in-law's turn to go thus my little niece is left in our care! She's so adorable especially now that she can walk although she can get very mischievious. Looking at her grow day by day makes me feel that life is really a miracle :) Anyway this is my cute little niece, Gwen with her new favourite cartoon-Pocoyo! Haha actually it's the first time I heard about it when my sis told me.. HAHA it's probably the new age cartoon, no longer those of our era-Barney and Teletubbies.

Speaking of drawings, Yongjian drew me something really cute yesterday during GP. Referred to the Spongebob on my file, it's quite similar! Thank you, it really made me smile!! :D And with people like Wendy and Vanessa constantly imitating each other, it certainly makes school life less mundane. Plus Suyi never ending stories about her life and how she's always high and happy until school ends, haha I'm glad I've classmates like them :)
6 of the girls walked from PS to Suntec after that. We kind of explored Singapore a little haha saw the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Grand Prix.
Yesterday the girls went shopping, the guys went sentosa hahah. Took a train with Suyi toe meet the rest. It's been a long time since we chatted properly since we kinda drifted afetr the first 3 months both caught up with our own commitments. But it was a really nice chat about everything? Haha r/s, studies, friends, parties etc etc etc. Maybe talking to her broadened by views about some issues. I'm always envious of her good language haha. While shopping, Vanessa and I felt so cheated ahh I think you should only buy clothes from Cotton on when it's on sale. Like the shorts now costs 1/4 the price I previously paid =/ We went Vivo after that and waited for about 2 hours for the guys. Spent out time at the book shop Pageone, they sell much cheaper books compared to elsewhere! Was reading through some cookbooks haha I wanna cook more nice dishes! After dinner we met the guys and chilled out at the rooftop. Never stayed out so late but really, it's nice at night :) Though there were so many couples around us trying to enjoy the scenery and we were making so much noise playing Truth and Dare, Shoot Shag Marry. Yeah orientation games. The guys were entertaining us with their embarrassing dares, things that no one would do in public! I laughed so much last night that my tummy hurt quite badly haha but we did have great fun :D
There are a few people I need to meet up since I wasnt able to do so during the holidays! We need to find them despite our hectic schedule somehow! Ahhhh miss miss miss.
